Allô! – Cooking
Allô! – Cooking
Finding the energy to cook is not always easy, especially after a busy day at university and with an increasingly tight food budget. Yet, a healthy and balanced diet directly impacts academic performance and quality of life. Cooking in a group can thus be a winning solution for everyone!
The Allô program and the community organization Les Cuisines collectives du Grand Plateau (CCGP) invite you to join a small group to cook! This way, you can save time, save money, learn new recipes, and create connections with other students.
What is a collective cooking group?
A collective cooking group consists of 4 to 8 people who meet once a month to cook together several recipes. They also divide the cooked portions and take them home.
- Participants collectively decide on the recipes to be prepared.
- Food purchases are made by group members.
- The cost of the recipes is then divided among all members.
When: One Saturday a month from 10 am to 3 pm.
Participation in a collective cooking group requires a commitment. You cannot miss several cooking meetings as it would affect your group.
Where? In the semi-professional kitchens of the CCGP, located 10-15 minutes from the Berri-UQAM metro station.
